FOUNDER OF DIMES

GAGE FERGUSON

I’m Gage Ferguson, founder of Dimes and a quarterback trainer dedicated to helping athletes understand how to actually throw a football. My path into quarterback training wasn’t traditional. I didn’t start as a highly recruited athlete or a five-star prospect. In fact, I didn’t step onto the varsity field until the end of my junior year of high school, but through relentless training and a deep obsession with improving my mechanics, I went from a late bloomer to earning 1st Team All-League honors and Offensive MVP my senior year. Despite receiving no offers, I walked on at College of the Siskiyous, where I eventually earned the starting quarterback job out of nine competitors. After setbacks and a season on the bench, I fought my way back the following year, leading my team to an 8–3 record with wins over three top-10 teams and earning 1st Team All-League honors. Eventually I finished my college career at the College of Idaho, where I completed my eligibility and graduated. But the biggest lesson from my journey wasn’t about accolades, it was about learning how to solve problems as a quarterback. Why I Created Dimes Throughout my career I realized something important: Most quarterbacks are taught drills, not mechanics. Very few athletes are actually shown why their throw works or why it doesn’t. That realization led me to start creating content during daily training sessions, breaking down throwing mechanics and sharing what I was learning. What started as simple training videos eventually grew into the Dimes platform, where hundreds of thousands of quarterbacks now learn how to throw with more power, accuracy, and consistency. What I Do Now Today I coach quarterbacks and create educational content focused on helping athletes understand the mechanical sequence that generates an efficient throwing motion. My goal is simple. Help quarterbacks stop guessing and start understanding how to fix their mechanics. Through personalized film reviews and virtual coaching, I help athletes: • identify mechanical flaws • generate more power in their throw • improve accuracy and consistency • learn how to self-diagnose and improve

I know what it’s like to struggle with mechanics, train without elite resources, and figure things out through dedication and persistence. Everything I teach comes from the lessons I learned along that journey. If you’re serious about improving your throwing mechanics, let’s get to work.
